Will Story began his legal career at one of the largest national defense law firms in the United States representing commercial clients in all aspects of litigation. He then expanded his practice to include representing those clients in an outside general counsel capacity. At that firm, he had the opportunity to try catastrophic injury claims in jury trials and arbitrations. After more than five years there, Will took a position as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 Company where he was responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and preparing public and private bid solicitations for the company's industry group that had $750 million in annual revenue.
Will started Story Law because he wanted to help local businesses in his community by providing a "one-stop legal shop" for businesses. At Story Law, not only do we provide your business with outside general counsel services, we have the experience to represent you or your business in every aspect of litigation, from the date of the alleged loss all the way through trial. Story Law's legal services are not limited to businesses; we provide all aspects of civil litigation services for individuals, plaintiff or defendant.
Will grew up in Gainesville, Georgia as the youngest of three children and attended North Hall High School. His parents, an English teacher and Judge, taught him from an early age how powerful helping others can be. Will attended Georgia College & State University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice and concentration in Legal Studies. After working in the insurance industry for two years, Will attended Georgia State University College of Law and Georgia State J. Mack Robinson College of Business where he earned his Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration. During his last year of law school, he met his wife, Starr. Will and Starr moved to Marietta following law school and spend the majority of their weekends walking and playing with their Havapoo, Alfie. They attend Marietta First United Methodist Church and enjoy being a part of the Marietta Square community and hiking the trails on Kennesaw Mountain. When not playing fetch with Alfie or practicing law, Will can usually be found on the golf course.
